We are firm believers in the teaching method and philosophy that Shinichi Suzuki developed and we absolutely love using it to enrich the lives of children as they learn to play the violin. Learning any musical instrument not only helps children develop discipline, intelligence, self-confidence, and other skill sets, but also helps develop a talent they can use in countless ways throughout their lives.
Our studio is built entirely around the Suzuki Method, offering a variety of ways for students to learn and thrive. Whether your child is just beginning or working toward new goals, we have something for every stage of the journey — private traditional lessons, group classes, remote lessons, video feedback sessions, mini camps, and master classes. This variety of formats keeps learning fresh, builds community, and gives every student more opportunities to grow.
Individual & Group Lessons
At the heart of our studio is the private, in-person lesson — the foundation of the Suzuki experience. Unlike a typical drop-off activity, Suzuki lessons are built on what’s known as the Suzuki Triangle: a three-way partnership between teacher, student, and parent. Parents are active participants in every lesson, learning alongside their child so they can guide and encourage daily practice at home. This involvement isn’t just encouraged — it’s essential. It’s what makes the Suzuki Method so remarkably effective, and it’s what transforms a weekly lesson into a lifestyle of musical growth.
Remote Lessons
Distance is no barrier to a great Suzuki education. Our studio works with students across the country and around the world through live video lessons — and for the right student and family, it works very well. The keys are the same as in-person study: parental involvement, consistency, and dedication. When those are in place, remote lessons can be equally meaningful and effective.
Whenever possible, we love connecting in person too — through travel on either end or a well-timed visit. If you’re curious whether remote lessons are a fit, just reach out. Great teaching has a longer reach than you might think!
Video Feedback
Video Feedback is a standalone service available to violin students outside our studio. Whether you’re working with another teacher and want a fresh perspective, or simply have questions about a technique or piece you’re working on, you can send us a video clip and we’ll send back thoughtful feedback and suggestions. It’s a simple, flexible way to get another voice in your corner.
Mini Camps & Workshops
Mini camps and workshops are a regular part of what we do — hosted here in Nashville and taken on the road whenever we travel. We’ve had the privilege of leading teaching engagements across the country and around the world, frequently partnering with local Suzuki programs along the way. Orchestra & Chamber
Ensemble experience is at the heart of a young musician’s growth, and we are strong advocates for our students participating in their local school and community orchestras and chamber groups. Playing alongside peers is an irreplaceable part of the journey — and we make it a natural part of what we do together. When students bring in their ensemble repertoire, we work through it right alongside their private curriculum, helping them show up prepared, confident, and ready to contribute. We strongly believe in this experience, and we’ll always be in your corner supporting it.
